UltraTree is a
product of Enabling Simplicity LLC. UltraTree is designed
for use with, and is entirely dependent upon, Soft
Velocity's Clarion
for Windows Rapid Application Development
system. UltraTree supports all Clarion versions
from 5.5 to the latest version.
UltraTree consists of Clarion OOP class
definitions, supported by Clarion template wrappers. The
entire product is in source format.
UltraTree is used to create Windows
32-bit applications (for any Windows 32 bit operating
system) to present a hierarchical tree formatted view of
data contained in a relational database. (This presentation
format is conceptually similar to the way Windows Explorer
presents a file and folder hierarchy.)
UltraTree supports browsing, exploding
and collapsing nodes, multicolumn formatted data display,
dynamic totaling, updating of data in all database levels
presented in the tree, and many other features described on
these Web pages.
UltraTree is a very mature and dependable
product, in its 9th major version since its initial
introduction in 1996. It has been used to create
applications that are in daily use in such diverse
industries and application areas as manufacturing, medical
billing, school administration, animal husbandry, and
metadata management. (To give a small sample)
The UltraTree classes are industry
independent and completely general. UltraTree is suitable
for use with any relational database described by a Clarion
data dictionary and is capable of presenting and updating
essentially all of the data relationships therein. |
